Mom decided she wanted to host Thanksgiving this year. It would be the first one without Dad, but she wanted to do it. I was afraid to see how it would go-she had offered to host Easter as well, but answered the door in tears. But, today was different. She did great. Mom made a delicious turkey with all the trimmings. She got through the day with a smile on her face. We remembered Dad in prayer, and had a glass of red wine, or two, in his memory. We focused on the two little boys who will be born so soon, and how blessed we all are to have one another. Happy Thanksgiving!
